Natural Language Processing Junior Researcher (Full-time)
Responsibilities:
- Support the research and development of language models, including but not limited to fine-tuning and alignment of language models, evaluation of language models, and innovative application research around language models.
- Design and develop systems related to language models, including language model evaluation system design and development, language model security governance system design, and data closed-loop system design and development.
- Conduct research and application related to prompt optimization, model capability analysis, model security and governance, etc. around language models.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. degree in computer science or artificial intelligence, with multiple papers published in top conferences and journals;
- Ability to quickly learn and understand the needs of the scene, with experience in natural language processing algorithm development;
- Proficient in PyTorch, with good engineering implementation capabilities, and familiarity with large model technology stacks is preferred;
- Experience in the design, development, and maintenance of complex systems or open-source projects is preferred.
Multimodal Researcher (Full-time)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an open-source algorithm framework for multimodal research, design and optimize training systems, and improve user experience and project impact.
- Conduct research on large-scale multimodal models.
- Conduct cutting-edge research in multimodal algorithms, including but not limited to pre-training, image and text generation.
- Develop innovative multimodal algorithm applications.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. degree in computer science or artificial intelligence, with several publications in top-tier conferences and journals.
- In-depth understanding of at least one area of NLP and computer vision.
- Proficient in Python and PyTorch, with strong engineering implementation capabilities.
- Familiarity with C++ and CUDA is a plus, and contribution to well-known open-source projects is also a plus.
Computer Vision Research Engineer (Full-time)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of the OpenMMLab open-source project, implementing SOTA algorithms, improving user experience, and project impact.
- Explore corresponding research fields to provide more effective algorithm models for academia and industry.
- Support the innovative application of algorithms in different industries by combining large-scale model technology.
- Build a system toolchain around OpenMMLab and participate in the design, development, and maintenance of large-scale open systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science, artificial intelligence or related fields, with priority given to those who have published first-author papers in top-tier conferences.
- Proficient in Python and PyTorch, with good engineering implementation capabilities.
- Able to quickly understand the needs of business scenarios and understand the training and deployment process of deep learning models.
- Passionate about open source, with additional points for contributions to well-known open source projects and influence in the technical community.
Researcher in Large Model Inference (Full-time)
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-performance inference, evaluation, and service systems for large models.
- Optimize and improve system performance and reliability to meet practical application requirements.
- Explore cutting-edge technology for large model deployment and apply it to practical projects.
Requirements:
- PhD degree in computer systems or artificial intelligence-related majors.
- First-author publications in top conferences or journals in the field of systems.
- Solid programming skills, proficient in Python, C/C++, and familiar with Linux programming environments.
- Proficient in using PyTorch, familiar with at least one distributed training and inference system such as ColossalAI, OneFlow, and DeepSpeed.
- Familiar with large language models and have relevant deployment experience preferred.

Large Model Inference Research Engineer (Full-time)
Responsibilities:
- Optimize model inference performance, including model compression, access optimization, operator optimization, etc.;
- Build operator optimization development tools and organize related optimization techniques;
- Participate in the development of deep learning model deployment toolchains;
- Participate in the research and development of large model inference and deployment systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science, mathematics, physics, or related fields;
- Proficient in C/C++ and Python, with good software engineering habits and practical experience;
- Experience in CUDA development and performance tuning;
- Familiar with cutlass and experience in TensorCore development is preferred.
AI Open Platform Product Manager (Full-time)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for AI Open Platform product planning and design, formulate product strategy and roadmap;
- Responsible for requirement investigation, function design, requirement review, requirement follow-up and implementation throughout the product lifecycle, able to collaborate efficiently with algorithm, development, operation and other teams;
- Investigate the development process of large models and traditional AI applications, deeply explore the needs of AI developers, keep abreast of industry trends, analyze the market and competitors, and ensure product competitiveness;
- Follow up on product performance after launch, collect user feedback and data, continue to optimize and improve, pay attention to data-driven approaches, and be responsible for product features and iteration progress indicators.
Requirements:
- Computer science, artificial intelligence related majors are preferred, familiar with artificial intelligence, large models and related fields;
- 3 years or more relevant work experience, experience in technology, artificial intelligence platform products is preferred;
- Have excellent communication, coordination and business understanding skills, excellent team collaboration driver, strong pressure resistance ability;

OpenMMLab Developer Operations Manager (Full-time)
Responsibilities:
- Manage the OpenMMLab open source community, develop effective developer operation strategies, encourage community developers to contribute to open source projects, and enhance community engagement.
- Develop and implement a growth system and incentive mechanism for developers and contributors in the OpenMMLab open source community.
- Expand the pool of developers from top universities, and organize high-quality events to increase the conversion rate of developers.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in open source projects and community operations. A degree in computer science or a related field is desirable.
- Strong analytical and leadership skills, driven, self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence, keen interest in technology dissemination, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and ability to maintain strong relationships with developers.

Multi-modal Algorithm Intern
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of multi-modal algorithm frameworks, design and optimize training systems, improve user experience and project influence;
- Conduct cutting-edge research in multi-modal areas, including but not limited to pre-training, image-text generation, etc.;
- Build innovative multi-modal algorithm platforms and applications.
Requirements:

Computer Vision Algorithm Intern
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of the OpenMMLab open source project, develop new algorithm frameworks, implement SOTA algorithms, improve user experience and project influence;
- Research cutting-edge algorithms in the industry, including but not limited to classification, detection, segmentation, 3D perception, object tracking, action recognition, pose estimation, AIGC, and self-supervised learning;
- Build a system toolchain and platform around OpenMMLab.
Requirements:
- Have a deep understanding of at least one direction of computer vision;
- Proficient in Python and PyTorch, and have good engineering implementation capabilities;
- Familiarity with C++ and CUDA is a plus, participation in well-known open source projects can be a plus, influence in the technical community can be a plus, familiarity with OpenMMLab can be a plus;
- Priority will be given to those who have published a top conference paper as first author.
